Bio & More Information
Hi! My name is Jones Granatyr and I have been working with Artificial Intelligence (AI) for over 11 years. I am the founder of the IA Expert Academy platform, a website with content and theoretical and practical courses on Artificial Intelligence, both in Brazil and Portugal. I have developed over 50 courses with over 85,000 students enrolled in over 96 countries. I am currently doing postdoctoral work at the Institute of Systems and Computer Engineering in Lisbon, and I did my doctorate (2017) and master’s (2011) both in the area of Artificial Intelligence and at PUCPR in Curitiba/PR. In the master’s degree I worked within the context of the PAI-L project (Intelligent Autopilot for Locomotives) funded by FINEP (Financier of Studies and Projects), which aimed to develop intelligent software for driving freight locomotives. In my doctorate, I participated in the Sandwich Doctorate Program Abroad sponsored by CAPES, in which I worked on the development of a model of trust and belief using personality and emotion at the Institute of Systems and Computer Engineering in Lisbon. I also did a Specialization in Security in Computer Networks and Distributed Databases (2007) and a Degree in Information Systems (2004). Between 2011 and 2012 I was a CNPq level B1 productivity fellow, working with Case-based Reasoning in the JUSTINIA software (Intelligent Justice Supported by Artificial Intelligence).
